Milan Expo 2015: Meet Lazenne at the Italian Makers Village

May 27, 2015

Lazenne is heading to the Milan Expo 2015 in June. Find us at the Italian Makers Village to taste some wine, learn more about wine travel, and to enter to win your own wine travel luggage filled with Piedmont wines.

The Italian Makers Village at Milan Expo 2015: Join us in Milan from June 11 to 15.

The Italian Makers Village is a cultural, educational, and social grouping of made in Italy exhibits that showcase Italian craftsmanship from all over Italy. Producers change weekly to give visitors a look at artisan Italian craftsmanship.

Taste wine! Lazenne is partnering with Azienda Agricola Demarie, a wine producer from Northern Italy’s Piedmont region at the Italian Makers Village in Milan. Demarie will be pouring some of the region’s top wines including, Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, Barolo, and Moscato d’Asti.

Learn How To Travel With Wine! Did you know you can check more than just a couple bottles of wine in your luggage when traveling internationally? We find that many wine lovers think traveling with wine is restrictive – not to mention costly when shipping abroad. As a result they miss out on taking home those special bottles tasted on vacation. In truth, you can take home more than you realize simply by checking them.

Wine and alcohol in checked (hold) baggage is acceptable as follows:

Packaging those precious bottles is the other important element of wine travel. Your options include individual protective packaging for a few bottles, specialty wine travel luggage that holds up to 12-bottles, and more.

Learn more about the rules and regulations as well as available wine travel products by visiting Lazenne at the Milan Expo 2015. We will have travel products available for purchase so you can safely and cost effectively transport wine home after your Italian adventures.

Win our wine travel luggage – filled with wine!

Visitors can enter to win a case of Demarie’s wine, packaged in our 12-bottle wine travel case. We won’t make you carry it around on your travels. The bottles in the wine carrier will be shipped directly to the winner (location restrictions may apply).
